Spring/Spring Break 2025ireland

Ireland: Past & Present- (Geography 490)

Travel Dates: March 20-March 29, 2025

Register for this Spring Semester course and spend your Spring Break with Professor Kenny French exploring Irish culture. In a program co-sponsored by the Irish Heritage School/Irish Archaeology Field School, students will spend a week residing in the lovely town of Birr in host family accommodation.  During the day, students will attend lectures, visit historical sites (like the famous Birr Castle), explore current cultural events (like hurling, rugby sports) and participate in excursions to the Cliffs of Moher and Burren National Park. Final days will be spent in Dublin.

Summer 2025Liverpool Shopping

3 Weeks in Liverpool, England

May 18 - June 6, 2025 or
June 9 - June 29, 2025

We have hopes of forming a group of students to travel to our partner, Liverpool Hope University which offers a selection of 10 exciting 3-week long courses that will introduce you to British culture.  Students can gain 3-6 credits.  One major-focused academic course will be taught in the mornings while students have the option of adding a second course "Life & Culture in the UK" in the afternoons.  Whether you are studying global business, the music of the Beatles or gaining hands on experience in a local school or social welfare agency, you will come home with many lifelong memories.  Great for all majors!
