Poland mapTravel Through Poland!

This January course provides an historical context of Poland with an emphasis on the impact of World War II to Present. Under the direction of Professor Helen Rosenberg, students will travel to some of the most beautiful parts of Europe:  Gdansk, Warsaw and Krakow.  Learn about World War II, the Nazi occupation, the Jewish resistance, the Polish resistance and Lech Walesa's Solidarity Movement.  Also on the agenda are tours to royal castles, Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, the Wieliczkh Salt Mine (World Heritage Site) and much more!

Former students have reported that the best part of the trip is the 4 days spent with University of Gdansk host families!

This affordable program includes airfare, insurance, lodging, in-country transportation and all programmed activities and most meals. Be sure to check out the Budget Sheet above as well as the Financial AId information to the left of this page.  Wisconsin residents with a GPA or better may be eligible for a $1000 grant!
