Darmstadt map
Travel to Germany with Parkside Professor Adrienne Viramontes and spend the first 3 weeks of the year at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences.

Just a 20 minute train ride from Frankfurt, the city of Darmstadt offers a "real-life" experience of German culture.

Students can choose from 2 exciting courses:

  • International Marketing & Sales (transfers into Parkside as Marketing 356 or Communications 435)

  • Digital Transformation/Intercultural Communication (transfers into Parkside as Communications 430)

In addition, students will participate in a German language/culture course.  Don't worry - no German necessary!  (After 3 weeks you will be able to order your own "Bier" in German!)

This amazingly affordable program price includes: airfare, lodging, tuition, academic field trips and planned excursions to Frankfurt and Heidelberg and other cultural activities.  See Budget Sheet above for costs.  Wisconsin residents with a GPA of 2.5 may be eligible for a Wisconsin Study Abroad grant up to $750.
